About Annual Giving at UC

Annual gifts provide vital, unrestricted operating income for UC's colleges and programs. They offset reductions in state funding, allowing the university to support its students and faculty where the need is greatest during the current fiscal year (July 1 - June 30).

We encourage you to keep giving back because as an annual donor, you ensure UC's status as a leading educational institution and add value to your degree. 

Undesignated gifts allow the university or your college to support its highest priorities. Or you may choose to designate your support to a specific program or fund.

Gifts of $1,000 or more qualify you for membership and recognition in the Charles McMicken Society.

Young Alumni Giving and Red & Black Society

• Our GOLD (Graduates Of the Last Decade) Challenge is a friendly competition among the young alumni of 11 of UC's colleges.
  
  
• GOLD donors may be eligible for membership in our new young alumni donor recognition society, the Red and Black Society. 
  
  
• Graduating seniors also have an opportunity to give back to UC with the Make Your Mark program.
