Solar Decathlon 2007
The University of Cincinnati is incredibly excited to be participating in the 2007 Solar Decathlon. The University understands how important it is for the world to be free from the grips of non-renewable, polluting energy.
The goal is to surge forward into a future marked by innovation, energy independence, better environmental stewardship and superb design. The homes we live in are perhaps the biggest obstacles to achieving that goal, and therefore present the greatest opportunity for success.
An expert interdisciplinary team has been developed to compete in the Solar Decathlon. The plan for the project is to bring together science and art in the best possible way: by collaborating across disciplinary lines, learning from each other, and perhaps even discovering innovative and beautiful technologies in the process.
The future depends on our collective ingenuity and passion, and we hope you will join us in this vital challenge.
