College of Allied Health Sciences

The University of Cincinnati’s College of Allied Health Sciences (CAHS) educates and prepares those entering rehabilitation and health care professions.

Graduates of the CAHS provide high-quality service in their fields while gaining new knowledge, keeping them on the cutting edge of the health science industries.

Programs at the CAHS include Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology, Dietetics and Nutrition, Genetic Counseling, Clinical Laboratory Sciences, Advanced Medical Imaging Technology, Transfusion and Transplantation Sciences, Physical Therapy, Physical Therapy Assisting and additional curricula in Pre-medicine, Pre-dentistry and Pre-veterinary Medicine.

  For a first year graduate student in speech-language pathology or audiology

• Alzheimer Fund
  Supports communication research and service to individuals with Alzheimer
  
  
• Pacholder Scholarship Fund
  Established by Sylvia Pacholder and her husband to serve as a source of emergency scholarships for students in the PT and PTA programs
  
  
• Gait Lab Research Fund
  Established to raise money for equipping and maintaining the Gait and Movement Analysis Laboratory
  
  

• Discretionary Fund
  Funds used to purchase equipment for use in the teaching labs to enhance student learning
