University of Cincinnati Foundation Student Internship - Annual Giving
Structure
The University of Cincinnati Foundation (UCF) is responsible for fund-raising activities benefiting the University of Cincinnati. The UC Foundation Intern, Annual Giving, is a paid student position reporting to the Director of Annual Giving. This position is not an academic internship and does not provide credit toward a degree.
Focus
This UC Foundation Student Internship position is responsible for a variety of duties in the UCF Annual Giving Department.
Specific Duties
- Typing and filing as needed
- Pull Internet reports and enter biographical updates into database
- Prepare and review solicitation/mailing lists
- Perform and complete mail merge projects as assigned
- Provide assistance on Senior Gift Campaign
- Participate in strategic planning related to young alumni solicitation
- Perform Internet project research
- Assist other Communication and Marketing departments with special projects as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at UC Main Campus with an above average grade point; preference for senior or junior status
- Computer experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is necessary with merge mail experience preferred
- Requires a high degree of confidentiality
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Good work ethic and dedication to successfully completing tasks on time

University of Cincinnati Foundation - Fellowship Program
The UCF Fellowship Program is an outgrowth of the UCF Student Internship Program and is open only to students who have successfully completed a UCF student internship.
This program provides the opportunity for the Foundation and the selected student intern to continue a mutually beneficial employment relationship following graduation. The fellowship position is two years in duration.
